Your responsibilities will include:
* Input and collect payroll data to facilitate bi-weekly payroll processing.
* Keep employee payroll records updated, including tax deductions and withholdings.
* Make necessary updates to employee information within the payroll system.
* Manage payroll-related tasks like issuing ROEs and processing garnishments.
* Address employee payroll-related questions and concerns in a prompt manner.
* Assist employees with filling out payroll forms and perform audits to verify all required documents are on file.
* Review, reconcile, and analyze payroll and associated data in accordance with established standards and deadlines.
* Generate reports for Accounting/Finance, including data on headcount, overtime, and incentive-based compensation programs.
* Help manage employee time-off tracking, ensuring updates and reconciliation with payroll systems for changes.
* Stay current on Canadian and US federal, provincial/state, and local payroll legislation, providing recommendations for compliance adjustments or necessary changes to management.
