Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their busy team on a part time basis - 20 hours per week Duties include; * Ensure all payroll data, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses and other adjustments are accurately communicated to the payroll bureau. * Collect and verify payroll data from the time and attendance system ensuring appropriate authorisations are in place to submit to external bureau in accordance with the payroll schedule. * Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies and procedures. * Review payroll reports from the bureau and communicate any changes or corrections needed in a timely manner. * Manage pension scheme to ensure up to date data is maintained on the pension site. * Act as main point of contact for employees regarding pension deductions and contributions. * Prepare, review and distribute payroll reports to both internal and external stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with internal reporting deadlines. * Resolve payroll queries in collaboration with the external bureau and Payroll Assistants, liaising directly with employees and third parties where necessary. * Oversee the maintenance and updating of payroll systems. * Maintaining the finance system in relation to the payroll ledger with accurate payroll postings and ensuring balance sheets are reconciled in line with the payroll processing deadlines. * Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the Operational and external stakeholders. * Liaise and maintain a strong relationship with external bureau to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
